Our Services
The Glossodia Community Centre is your place to come and connect with your community and local services. We provide information on a wide variety topics and can assist you with simply meeting people in the local area or complex issues like navigating government forms and departments.
About Our Services
The Glossodia Community Centre is funded to support and seek further information for any issue that may affect individuals, families, friends in our community or issues that affect our community as a whole. We are here to support you by offering, educational courses, free activities and programs or just drop in for a coffee and a chat.
Our Free Services Include:
- Providing Information and Knowledge
on a wide range of topics and issues. - Referrals to other Services
We can put in touch with the right people. - Use of our Facilities
Don’t have a home office? Use our phone, wifi and computer. Appointment required. - Justice of the Peace
Our resident JP can assist you. Appointment required. - Advocacy Assistance
We can assist you with Centrelink or other Government forms. We can also assist you by making contact and / or speaking to services on your behalf. Appointment required. - Pantry Staples
Food and pantry supplies to help in an emergency and provide you with a bit of relief. Appointment required. More information. - Playgroup:
Join our weekly playgroup sessions for children aged 0 to 5 years and meet new people. More information. - Bubs Connect
Information and referrals for parents and carers. More information. - Giggle and Wiggle
A song and dance program for children aged 0 to 5 years. More information. - GPS Koori Kids
We visit Glossodia Public School weekly and engage with the children in aboriginal cultural appropriate activities. - Walk And Talk
Offered in conjunction with the Heart Foundation, this program runs for 1 hour per week. Join us for a casual walk and chat around the neighbourhood while meeting with new friends and getting some exercise. More information.

Out Of School Care – Before school care, After school care or Care during school vacations for local children in the Hawkesbury local area.
Hire Our Hall
The Glossodia Community Centre’s Hall is available for hire on either a casual basis for a one-off event or on a regular basis for hosting paid activities.
